Pillars of hope.
Pillars of hope and the morning glory
I open my heart as I share my story
I beckon you all to come and unite
We must ban together prepare for flight
We stand on theses towers of blood sweat and tear
Now is the time to break through your fears
Once I was a mortal a mirror of man
I dwelled in the shadows, stole food from trash cans
I would bath in the rain, and pray where I lay
That I be struck by a miracle by dawns brand new day.
The Ambience of winter was all in the air,
When I thought nothing left that could bring me despair
Things get a lot worse in winter on the street
No time for Dreaming about some summer retreat
Food is scarcer. You can’t stay dry in the snow.
Blood coagulates, my body shivers from head to toe
I knew I wouldn’t make it through winter this year
Why and How I knew this just wasn’t clear
I gave my meager possessions to 2 young boys in the alley
With my last warm breath came visions of lily of the valley
My vestal empty! The spark has been extinguished
My conscience surrendered for mankind that I cherished
When a resonating sound so hypnotic that it put me in a trance
Voices of people calling. Looking like angels at first glance
We are not angels, not gods; we are not what you think
We are the unity of man. Clustered together the missing link
The battle that we wage is not out of spite
For the sake of mankind please hear our plight
We stand here the angelic illusion that appears so grand
Telling you the power is yours! You are GOD! We hope you understand.
We all help each other. Don’t just walk away
We are the sunlight that greets you on each brand new day
Hope!
